HOLOSUN collimators equipped with a solar panel allow you to automatically adjust the outline of the collimator depending on the light conditions (Solar Panel Mode). In sufficient light conditions, the warp is powered purely from the solar panel. If the light conditions are not sufficient, the collimator automatically switches to a CR2032 battery. The solar panel mode can be switched off.

Each of the HOLOSUN collimators is equipped with control electronics with integrated memory storing the last settings before switching off.

Theautomatic shutdown function is factory set to 10 min. If the collimator is idle, it will automatically shut down. After the slightest movement, the collimator will automatically turn on to its original state before shutting down.

The collimator can be turned off manually, in this case the motion sensor will not be active.

The battery is hidden in the collimator base. No more obstructions in the form of large and bulky battery cases on the body of the collimator.

Holosun collimators find use on all types of firearms. They can be used on everything from pistols, self-loading rifles, shotguns to large caliber 9.5×73 hunting rifles.

HOLOSUN collimatorsare compatible with night vision devices. For night vision use, the collimator is equipped with 2intensity levels that are not visible to the human eye in normal environments. These are the first and second brightness levels which are compatible with NV.

Holosun collimators come with 2Picatinny/Weaver compatible mounts.

The low mount with 8mm height and the 1/3 co-witness mount. The collimator can be mounted with these mounts on hunting rifles and shotguns as well as on self-loading rifles.

HOLOSUN rubber covers are standard on the 403 series and 503C series with the exception of the 503FL model. The elastic cover fits very well on the optic and protects it during transport. It is also suitable for use when storing the weapon in a safe. Removing the cap is very quick.

HOLOSUN collimators are designed without parallax. The shooter does not have to look in the axis of the optic when shooting, as when shooting with open sights. This advantage offers the shooterinstant readiness. Simply overlap the target with the warp and squeeze the trigger. This advantage is especially appreciated by hunters and shooters in tactical disciplines.

Reliability in recoil

The collimatorcan withstand a 1000 G recoil force, which is equivalent to a 9.5×73 (.375 weatherby) calibre.

It is also perfect for use on hunting and sporting calibers including shotgun.

Collimator and eye defect

Please note that:

• using the scope in combination with astigmatism can be problematic.
• If you wear glasses, you should use them when shooting.
