- the gel warmer is a gel in a soft case and is "charged" by boiling the warmer for a while (about 6-10 minutes) in hot water,
- it is left to cool and is ready to use,
- if we want to get heat, there is a small folded flipper in the gel warmer that we squeeze, This starts a thermochemical reaction in which the gel turns into a solid (similar to compressed snow) and at the same time heat is released,
- the reaction takes about 20 minutes, which is enough to heat it up,
- once the heat is exhausted, the heater has to be boiled in boiling water again, and after cooling down it is ready to be used again,
