HELION 2 XP50 PRO
The Helion 2 XP50 PRO uses a microbolometer with a NETD sensitivity of < 25 millikelvin (mK), which characterizes the sensor's ability to distinguish between two nearby points with the smallest possible temperature difference, to capture a thermal image. The lower the NETD value, the better the sensor can detect small temperature differences between objects and separate them from ambient thermal noise. For example, during precipitation, fog or a cold morning, when the surrounding environment has low temperature contrast and these are the most difficult conditions for thermal imaging, in this case, due to the high sensitivity, the sensor will be able to distinguish the smallest temperature differences and the sight will provide the hunter with a clear image with better contrast.
High resolution microbolometer 640x480 pixels at 17µm
The powerful lens combined with a professional temperature sensor with NETD sensitivity < 25 mK provide the instrument with exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8 m object can be detected in total darkness at a distance of up to 1800 m
Long detection distance
The powerful lens combined with a professional temperature sensor with NETD sensitivity < 25 mK gives the instrument exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8m high object can be detected in total darkness at a distance of up to 1800m
Image Boost Technology
Image Boost Technology is a patented combination of software algorithms that increase the sharpness of thermal object contours and deliver unparalleled image quality. Image Boost will make the image appear sharper, with very good rendering of even the smallest details of thermal objects, allowing for better detection and identification.
Helion 2 XP50 PRO. What's new?
Large aperture lens
The properties of thermal imaging optics have a decisive influence on the ability of a thermal imaging camera to capture even the lowest levels of thermal radiation. Perfect detection is achieved with the Helion 2 XP50 Pro lens (F50 / 1.0) combined with a highly sensitive sensor. The Helion 2 XP50 Pro models always provide users with the highest quality, most detailed and high-contrast images, even in rain or fog, when the contrast of the observed scene is minimal.
Durable, reliable, all-metal
The Helion 2 XP50 Pro monocular has a durable yet lightweight all-metal construction. The monocular's parts and components are manufactured with precision accuracy ensuring years of flawless operation in a variety of climatic conditions and deployment even in difficult terrain.
Full-colour AMOLED display
The full-color display uses AMOLED technology, which provides high contrast between white and black, and displays in very vivid colors. AMOLED technology also has the advantage of smooth displaying without slowing down even at very low temperatures and saving power.
Variable Digital Zoom
Up to 8x digital zoom, provides better aiming and overall target recognition at longer distances.
Photo and Video Recorder
Built-in video recorder is a great help for capturing and preserving unique memories. One press of the REC button creates a recording that you can share with friends. The built-in 16Gb memory is used to store hours of video footage or take thousands of pictures. Video is saved with audio, so you can add your own commentary to the footage.
8 colour palettes
In different viewing conditions, it is convenient to use different colour combinations to display the image. The Helion XP50 PRO thermal imaging camera offers up to 8 colour display palettes. While the classic "White Hot" mode is extremely versatile, the "Hot Black" mode is often preferred for detecting wildlife at night. The red monochrome reduces glare to the eye from the brightness of the display. Sepia color often improves long distance viewing, while "Red Hot", "Rainbow" and "Ultramarine" render temperature differences of different objects better. Purple helps to identify objects more quickly.

Stream Vision App
Using Wi-Fi, you can connect the Helion to your smartphone or tablet to view the on-screen image, download recorded videos and photos , remote control , update the software and many other useful features.
B-Pack power system
The Helion 2 uses the progressive B-Pack system for power, which consists of a 6.4 A-h IPS7 quick-change rechargeable battery providing up to 8 hours of operation. A more powerful IPS14 battery pack or a container for conventional AA batteries is also available to serve as an off-grid power solution.
Other features
Picture-in-Picture Mode
When Picture-in-Picture mode is turned on, an additional window appears at the top of the display with a magnified image of the target and crosshairs. The additional window occupies only 1/10 of the total screen area and does not limit the field of view that the shooter can see. The magnified image in the auxiliary window helps to more accurately aim the target.
Waterproof IPX7
IPX7 waterproof protection protects the unit from rain, snow and dust and keeps the unit operational even after immersion in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
Wide operating temperature range
The use of a frost-resistant AMOLED display and B-Pack power supply in the Accolade 2 thermal imager gives the assurance of a flawless display over an extremely wide operating temperature range from -25 °C ... +50 °C.
Graphic Rangefinder
The Graphic Rangefinder is a dynamic rangefinder scale designed to determine the approximate distance of objects with known heights of 1.7 m (deer), 0.7 m (wild boar) and 0.3 m (rabbit).
Refresh rate 50 Hz
High frame rate is important when tracking fast moving targets. The high refresh rate ensures smooth motion in real time, without slowing down and tearing the image.
Software Updates
If a software update is released by the manufacturer, the user has the option of using iOS or Android mobile devices with the Stream Vision Apps to download and upload it to the device.
External Power Supply
Helion 2 thermal imaging cameras can be charged by an external power source such as a power bank using the micro USB port. An extended feature is the ability to be powered by an external power supply even in extremely cold conditions that can quickly drain a standard power supply.
User friendly operation
The operation of the Helion 2 thermal imager is simple and intuitive. The controls are positioned for convenient one-handed operation. All settings are clearly arranged in menus. When displaying menus and changing parameter settings, their current values are displayed off-centre and illustrated for better readability by shading. This avoids obscuring the center of the image and allows the user to continue to track the target comfortably. Important setting information is always displayed in the lower status bar.
Display Off
When it is necessary to temporarily stop the observation it is possible to use the display off function. This brings the necessary level of comfort (the display does not emit light from the eyepiece) between observations (other functions are on and the display is off). To turn on the display, simply press the ON button
