Highly sensitive 640x480/12 µm microbolometer
The KRYPTON thermal imager uses a 640x480px @ 12 µm microbolometer to capture images, providing exceptionally sharp and contrasty images with excellent sensitivity in all conditions.
Long detection distance
The powerful lens combined with a professional temperature sensor with 12 µm technology gives the instrument exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8 m object can be detected in complete darkness at a distance of up to 2300 m.
High-resolution image
The sharp, high-contrast image helps to better detect and identify animals, their limbs and even the smallest details of the terrain e.g. branches, leaves, grass etc.
5x30B Monocular
The Krypton XG50 comes with a monocular in the kit that will turn your forestay into a full-fledged thermal imaging instrument. The monocular flashes on and off the nosepiece with a simple twist in the bayonet joint. In addition, the 5x30 monocular can be used as a daytime observation telescope with 5x magnification.
Quick Release Adapter
A specially designed PSP adapter is used to attach the front sight to the scope. At one end the adapter is attached to the KRYPTON front sight via a safety thread and at the other end it is mounted on the day scope. The Krypton can be detached from the scope in seconds. The precision positioning mechanism allows perfect alignment of the image in the sight's field of view and provides maximum viewing comfort. An important feature is that the adapter remains mounted even when using the front sight to observe with the Pulsar 5x30B monocular.
Durable, Reliable, All-Metal
The Krypton FG50 thermal imaging scope has a durable but lightweight all-metal magnesium alloy construction. The parts and components of the thermal imaging camera are manufactured with precision accuracy, ensuring years of flawless operation in a variety of climatic conditions and deployment even in difficult terrain.
Photo and Video Recorder
Built-in video recorder is a great help for capturing and preserving unique memories. One press of the REC button creates a recording that you can share with friends. The built-in 16Gb memory is used to store hours of video footage or take thousands of pictures. Video is saved with audio, so you can add your own commentary to the footage.
Super AMOLED display
The display uses AMOLED technology to provide a high contrast difference between white and black. AMOLED technology also has the advantage of smooth display without slowing down even at very low temperatures and saving power.
B-Pack power system
Krypton uses the progressive B-Pack system for power, which consists of a 6.4 A-h IPS7 quick-change rechargeable battery that provides up to 8 hours of operation. There is also a container for conventional AA batteries, which serve as a power solution for long stays without the possibility of recharging the battery from the mains.
Stream Vision app
Using Wi-Fi, you can connect the Krypton thermal imager to your smartphone or tablet and use the Stream Vision mobile app to view the image directly on your phone screen, download recorded videos and photos, remotely control the ballast, update the software and enjoy many other useful features.

Software update
In case of a software update release by the manufacturer, the user can download and upload the software to the device using iOS or Android mobile devices with Stream Vision Apps. This way you can be sure that your device will always use the latest software.
Waterproof IPX7
Waterproof protection according to IPX7 standard protects the device from rain, snow and dust and keeps the device operational even after immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes.
Wide operating temperature range
The Krypton thermal imager's use of a freeze-resistant AMOLED display and B-Pack power supply gives the assurance of a flawless display over an extremely wide operating temperature range from -25°C ... +50°? where other display or power supply technologies fail.
