The highly sensitive
Thermion 2 sensor uses a microbolometer to sense the thermal image with a NETD sensitivity of < 25 millikelvin (mK), which characterizes the sensor's ability to distinguish between two close points with the smallest possible temperature difference. The lower the NETD value, the better the sensor can detect small temperature differences between objects and separate them from ambient thermal noise. For example, during precipitation, fog or a cold morning, when the surrounding environment has low temperature contrast and these are the most difficult conditions for thermal imaging, in this case, due to the high sensitivity, the sensor will be able to distinguish the smallest temperature differences and the sight will provide the hunter with a clear image with better contrast.

Large Aperture Lens
The characteristics of the thermal imaging optics are critical to the thermal imaging camera's ability to capture even the lowest levels of temperature radiation. Perfect detection is achieved with the Thermion 2 XP50 (F/1.0) lens combined with a highly sensitive sensor. The Thermion 2 XP50 models always provide users with the highest quality, most detailed and high contrast images, even in rain or fog when the contrast of the observed scene is minimal.

Standard appearance and mounting
The shape of Thermion's sights is fully compatible with that of conventional day sights, and its design is engineered for easy handling and trouble-free mounting. No special mounting is required to mount it to the gun, but standard 30mm mounting lugs the same as for a day sight.

User profiles
Thermion allows 5 shooting profiles to be stored in internal memory, each for 10 different distances. Depending on the weapon or ammunition being used, you can quickly change the priming profile.

Picture in picture

The Picture in Picture (PiP) function displays a smaller window at the top with the center of the image set to a higher magnification. The window takes up only 10% of the field of view and does not obscure the overall view.

Intentional warps

The sight has a wide variety of different type of intentional warps, including ballistic, with a combination of color settings: black, white, red and green.

"Image Boost" function

The "IMAGE BOOST" function is a software image processing function exclusively designed for Pulsar thermal imaging instruments. "IMAGE BOOST" significantly increases the sharpness of the contours of thermal objects and produces images with unrivalled image sharpness quality for Pulsar thermal imaging instruments.

AMOLED display

The display used to display the image provides a sharp, high-contrast image in vivid colors. The AMOLED technology used ensures energy savings and a flawless and smooth display even at low operating temperatures.

Colour display

Colour palettes offer the possibility to better adapt the display to specific conditions. While White Hot and Black Hot are the most popular, Red Hot, Rainbow and Ultramarine highlight more intense hot spots. Purple, Red Monochromatic and Sepia are optimal palettes for reducing eye fatigue during long viewing sessions.

Photo and Video Recorder

The built-in video recorder is a great help for capturing and preserving unique memories. One press of the REC button creates a recording that you can share with friends. The built-in 16Gb memory is used to store hours of video footage or take thousands of pictures. Video is saved with audio, so you can add your own commentary to the footage.

Stream Vision app

Using Wi-Fi, you can connect the Thermion to your smartphone or tablet to view the on-screen image, download recorded videos and photos , remote control , update the software and many other useful features.

Dual power system

Thermion sights have a dual power system: an internal battery and an external battery that is inserted into the device. The external battery can be quickly changed directly while the instrument is in operation without having to switch it off. Another power supply option is to use an external power supply, e.g. a power bank.

Software update
In the event of a software update being released by the manufacturer, the user has the option of using iOS or Android mobile devices with Stream Vision Apps to download and upload the software to the instrument.

User-friendly operation
Thermion is easy to operate and set up using the three function buttons on the top of the instrument and the left rotary encoder. The three buttons and the encoder allow convenient access and management of all menu menus and sight settings.
