Hultafors axes have been hand forged from Swedish steel using traditional methods since 1697.
The gradual forging process thickens the steel and thus increases the durability of the axe.
The head is partially hardened, which means that it is hardest at the blade, which can be easily sharpened if necessary.
We recommend manual sharpening or re-sharpening, or using a low-speed grinder with cooling.
The blade is made from white walnut, hickory wood and is treated with linseed oil.
It is recommended to clean the top well from time to time, brush with linseed oil and wipe dry with a cloth after about 10 minutes.
A leather case is included.
