The key parameter is the quality of the glue. This is set in such a way that the adhesive strength of the strip does not prevent easy pulling out of the cavity and yet its instant stickiness and adhesion guarantee fly capture even with weak contact. The viscosity of the adhesive is set so that the adhesive does not run off the strip over a wide range of temperatures. This means that the glue will not drip onto the floor.

Our attractant, which is formulated specifically for the house fly (Musca domestica), has a high attractant effect. It is not a sexual attractant, but a food attractant. The attractant as well as the adhesive have been developed in cooperation with the Slovak Academy of Sciences and its effectiveness is regularly tested in the laboratory, even in comparison with competitors. Our flypaper comes out as one of the most effective.

Due to its length and width, our adhesive strip has the largest effective area in the world. The length is an important parameter of effectiveness, as it has been found that flies fly onto the fly strip from below. This phenomenon can be observed on used fly traps where the strip is always fuller at the bottom.
