MACO STOP Extreme bear spray is designed to protect hikers, foresters, hunters and anyone spending time in the woods by helping repel an attack by a bear or another large predator. The product is extremely effective because it contains a powerful combination of Capsicum oleoresin OC (capsaicin) up to 15% and MC 1.4%, the highest concentration on the market. These substances cause immediate incapacitation and intense burning in the airways, head and eyes, along with blurred vision. MACO STOP bear spray has an effective range of up to 8–9 m. The contents discharge in approximately 6–8 seconds. This spray provides effective protection. We recommend deploying it in several short bursts.

Advantages of the GEL version: less affected by wind and delivers the full dose throughout the spray path
Disadvantages of GEL: harder to aim accurately
Advantages of MIST: easier to aim
Disadvantages of MIST: shorter effective range because the mist disperses progressively with distance and therefore delivers significantly less active ingredient at the end of its path than at the beginning
Before use, pull the metal-and-plastic safety pin from the side of the handle (shown in the picture). Once the pin has been removed, the spray is ready for use. Do not tamper with the orange part.
