Whether facing a pile of potatoes or wanting to add parmesan shavings, the avid cook who likes to work quickly yet safely will love our REX, RAPID and STAR peelers. The REX model is an award-winning design unique, developed in 1947 by Alfred Neweczerzal and still virtually unchanged today. From its inception, it was manufactured by the Swiss company Zena, which was bought by Victorinox and became an essential part of our scraper range. We have also incorporated several improvements, adding two extra blade types to create the STAR model and a new material design to create the RAPID model, which features a solid ABS plastic handle and potato peeler. This ergonomically shaped model is available in two colours and has the immense advantage of being dishwasher safe. Each of these peelers not only looks great, but is also a healthy choice as peeling close to the flesh preserves vitamins and minimises waste.
