Wasp trap - with PET bottle

The trap is designed to catch flying insects. It protects against intruding insects in gardens, balconies, gazebos, etc. It works without chemicals. Fruit syrup, juice or other sweet, preferably fermented beverages suffice as a filling.

Instructions for use:

Fill the PET bottle in the package with liquid e. g. syrup, sweet drink or beer. Put the holder on the neck of the PET bottle and hang the prepared trap in the place you want to protect from insects. The insects are attracted to the container where they fall into the liquid.

Instructions for the preparation of simple attractants for PET bottles:

Wasps, flies and hornets: 200 ml of beer, 1 tablespoon of sugar (or honey) or 200 ml of water, 2 tablespoons of sugar (or honey) and 50 ml of wine vinegar.

Octomils and fruit flies: 150 ml apple cider vinegar, 50 ml red wine, 1 tablespoon sugar.

Baits prepared in this way are not harmful to pollinators (bees, bumblebees). To increase the effectiveness, change the bait every 15-20 days.
