Cold Steel Recon 1 Clip Point Plain Edge (S35VN)

The Recon 1 Clip Point Plain Edge Closure Knife is a lightweight closure knife that fits perfectly in the hand.

The Recon 1 is one of Cold Steel's most popular tactical closure knives. Proof of its popularity is the many years of production and demand for this line of knives. The blades of this series are newly manufactured from CPM S35VN steel. CPM-S35VN is a martin stainless steel designed to offer improved toughness. Its chemical composition has been balanced so that CPM-S35VN achieves a hardness between 58 and 61 HRC. In addition, the blade is also protected by a DLC Coating finish. The G-10 handle has a fine texture on its surface, roughening it for a better and more secure grip. The knife is fitted with a double-sided opening pin, and this line of knives also features the unique Cold Steel® Tri-Ad Lock™ patent. The lock prevents the knife from closing by itself or accidentally, even after natural wear over time. You will also receive a clip in the package for carrying on the left side.
