Deramax - Bird is intended for use as a bird scarer (repeller). It generates specific sub-ultrasonic signals that are very unpleasant for birds, so that after a short time they leave the protected area and seek a new refuge outside the area protected by the scarecrow. The generated ultrasonic signals have an automatic change of frequency in a given range so that the birds do not get used to the signal and at the same time an automatic change of power (sudden change of power), which contributes to the higher efficiency of this type of scarecrow. As far as specific bird species are concerned, in our conditions it is mainly used as a scarecrow for sparrows, thrushes, ravens, crows, etc... The scarecrow is not suitable for scaring starlings in orchards and vineyards. The operation of the device is completely ecological, without the use of chemical means.

Deramax - Bird is a bird scarer, but it can have an effect on e. g. domestic cats, dogs or horses. However, it is not necessary to deal with any special precautions on the part of domestic animals. It is quite sufficient if the pet is free to leave the area protected by the device. Thus, the bird repeller will not harm your pet, only the animal may avoid the area. However, always ensure that the pet has the opportunity to leave the protected area, and never use this type of scarecrow on an animal confined in a pen underneath.

Deramax - Bird operates in the ultrasonic range, does not disturb its surroundings with annoying noise and is completely silent. Of course, this scarecrow meets the legal limits set for the maximum ultrasound level, but our internal rules go beyond the applicable laws and take into account medical scientific work and recommendations of international medical organizations in connection with the use of ultrasound signals, thus ensuring the complete safety of the users of this product.

Range of effectiveness of the Deramax - Bird scarecrow

The range of effectiveness of this bird scarer is at a distance of up to 25 metres at an angle of approximately 180 degrees. The scarecrow not only has a high power but the special design of the device ensures that a very wide effective angle of 180 degrees is achieved, while even at the limit of the declared angle of incidence (i. e. outside the main direction of signal emission) the scarecrow still generates at least 80% of the declared sound pressure level.

Any number of scarecrows may be placed in one location and their signals shall not adversely affect each other in any way. On the contrary, it is common to use multiple scarecrows for the protection of particularly larger or more rugged areas, as a larger number of scarecrows (repellers) installed in one location means a significantly higher overall effectiveness.
