Use

In addition to trapping moles, the trap can also be used for trapping voles and rodents. The trapped animal will get in, but the flaps will not let it out and it will remain trapped inside. The trapped animal is then freed by pushing the latch inside the tube with a finger and can be released into the wild. Procedure for setting the trap

Before trapping a mole, it is a good idea to first trample down all the moles, and apply traps to those that the mole recovers by the next day. First, uncover the top layer of soil until you reach a horizontal corridor into which you place (set) the trap. The trap must be placed in the passage through the flaps so that it is continuous with the passageway. Cover the trap passage with a piece of wood or an inverted bucket. It is recommended to wear gloves when handling the trap, if possible, to avoid human smell. After catching a mole, it is a good idea to set the trap again, as there is rarely only one mole in the garden.
