FEROBAND - pheromone moth adhesive strip

A single-sided adhesive paper strip equipped with a pheromone that guarantees effective capture of males of 4 species of food moths - the warehouse moth (Ephestia elutella), the flour moth (Ephestia kuehniella), the date moth (Ephestia cautella) and the pepper moth (Plodia interpunctella).

Benefits of the product

It is a pheromone adhesive strip for monitoring the occurrence of food moths. The advantage of the adhesive strip is its ease of use. It can be hung anywhere with a hook or string. The trap is small and compact. The strip is able to attract moths from a wide area and one trap is sufficient for a 500 m3 area. The attraction and therefore the effectiveness on food moths is proven both by laboratory tests and by use in practice.

The aim of the trap is to interrupt the reproduction of food moths and thus prevent the eggs from being laid in food. Its installation will therefore not immediately kill off the adults, but will ensure that larvae do not appear in food.
