HIKMICRO introduces the second generation of the PANTHER 2.0 thermal imaging sight in 2023.
The main innovations compared to the first generation include:
- A sensor with a NETD of less than 20 mK (the lower the NETD value, the better the sensor can record small temperature differences of objects with a perfect image).
- Automatic video and audio recording activated by shot.
- New and clearer menu.
More types of sighting warp
10 types of thread cross and 4 colors are supported, allowing users to customize the product to their needs. This matches most hunting guns and a trajectory correction function is also available. The Panther 2.0 can be shot with 5 guns or 5 types of ammunition.
High Thermal Detector Resolution
The 384 x 288 resolution and high sensitivity detector (less than 20 mK NETD) provides a clear image.
The eyepiece
OLED display (1024 x 768 resolution) offers excellent viewing and greatly enhances user comfort.
Picture-in-picture
The "picture-in-picture" function enlarges the central part of the preview. This allows more detail to be seen in the displayed area.
Replaceable batteries
Two batteries and a HIKMICRO external charger are included, giving you the freedom to observe for as long as you need, even all day.
Superior Image Algorithm
The self-developed image algorithm optimizes image quality, bringing users a clear, high-resolution image, highlighting the edge of the object.
Variable Digital Zoom
Digital zoom up to 8X better focuses even on smaller target from a long distance.
Reliability and stability
The body of the instrument is made of high strength plastic. The internal components are designed and precisely reinforced. The rail is made of 7075 aluminum alloy: high impact resistance, no deformation and no cracks.

Highest image quality and accurate target recognition
The powerful VOx 12m imaging sensor with NETD<20mK and large aperture F1.0 lens ensures perfect target resolution and clear, detailed images even in complete darkness. 50 fps (frames per second) provide smooth and dynamic video.
Ultra Long Detection Range
With an advanced imaging sensor and large focusing lens, the PANTHER 2.0 series offers incredible detection capabilities and can detect a 1.7m target at distances up to 2600m.
Unique Design and Seamless Operation
The PANTHER 2.0 series (second generation) adopts a unified style with a compact and sensible structure that provides the consumer with seamless operation.
The new control method
The scroll wheel is used for menu selection and zooming, making the operation more natural. Each turn delivers an excellent sense of control.
Built-in precision laser rangefinder
The built-in laser rangefinder allows you to determine the exact distance, which plays an important role in hunting. The rangefinder allows you to measure up to 600 metres with an accuracy of 1 metre.
Waterproof IP67
The IP67-rated design provides protection from rain, snow, even when dropped in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
