Our new, completely redesigned approach to plate carriers, BEARCAT® is a minimalist and lightweight, yet still versatile carrier made from 4-way stretch nylon. It maintains plate stability even during dynamic movements, and the skeletonized, laser-cut modular system in the chest area allows you to attach small holsters and stabilize the PTT. ITW Nexus GTSR® buckles are located under the laminate panels on the chest area for attaching additional accessories and chest rigs. Flat, low-profile shoulder straps with tunnels allow the quick-release cable to be positioned comfortably. They also have elastic loops for additional cables, antennas and hydration tubing. In addition, there are elastic loops on the sides of the front-plate pouch to stabilize cables or antennas when the radio is worn in the Comm Wings. The top of the backplate pocket features a minimalist modular skeleton system and an integrated pull handle. There are zippers on the sides that allow mounting of back panels, including those from the SPITFIRE® system. In order to minimize weight, the rear of this platform is unobstructed and without any additional Velcro fasteners. The platform itself also has no additional admin pockets. The kit does not include a flap or hood (these must be purchased separately). The BEARCAT® Ultralight Plate Carrier is compatible with most SPITFIRE® system accessories.
