Taking its name from the famous World War II fighter, our SPITFIRE® plate carrier is a streamlined and dynamic platform. Lightweight and unrestrictive, the Plate Carrier is one of the lightest in its class. SPITFIRE® is a durable platform that is unique in its modularity - it can be converted into a cut-off carrier platform in a few simple steps. It's made primarily of a proprietary laminate and a section of Cordura® 500D fabric, so it can withstand even the toughest conditions. The entire surface of the carrier is covered with a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS compatible modular system. As we mentioned earlier, the SPITFIRE® is a truly modular platform - so you can change the hood, front flap, or add a zippered panel on the back. In addition, thanks to the front buckles, you can attach one of our chest rigs in seconds, as well as a number of rigs available on the market. The front zippered pocket in the chest area can fit small essentials such as spare batteries, earplugs, target photos, etc. Velcro® loop panels on the front and back allow you to personalize the carrier with patches. In addition, the carrier is equipped with numerous loops to stabilize your cables, antennas, hydration tubing, as well as two PTT anchor points on the front.
