Our machetes are an interesting addition to the SOG family. I shouldn't have a machete, but what size will suit me? Machetes are one of the most useful sharp tools in the world. They have always been used to clear brush and blaze trails, chop wood, build shelters, harvest crops, prepare food, hunt and protect. Careful attention has been paid in the manufacture of SOGfari machetes to ensure that they are the right weight and that the handles are comfortable for prolonged use. Swing them in the air and hear them sing. We've added a real working saw blade to the back of the blades with teeth that cut deep. There's a spike extending from the back of the handle for hammering and scraping. There are even holes in the handle for lanyard attachments.
